Forma Pilates Studio came to us needing more than a logo they needed a brand that matched the level of precision and care they bring to every class. As Toronto's premier pilates studio, they required an identity that felt elevated, intentional, and completely distinct from the sea of wellness brands that look like every other studio in the city.

The Challenge

The wellness and fitness space is saturated. Most pilates studios default to soft pinks, thin serif fonts, and stock photography a look that communicates "basic" before a potential client even reads a word. Forma needed to stand out as a premium, results-driven studio without losing the warmth and approachability that makes a movement practice feel welcoming.

The brand also needed to work across multiple touchpoints from a high-converting website to physical merchandise without losing consistency or impact at any scale.

What We Built

Brand Identity

We developed a complete visual identity anchored by a custom line-art logo mark a fluid, single-stroke figure in a pilates pose that communicates movement, precision, and the human form all at once. The mark is versatile enough to live on a website header, embroidered on a towel, or printed on the side of a tote bag and hold the same weight in every context.

The colour system pairs warm terracotta and deep charcoal with off-white to create a palette that feels premium without being cold. It signals expertise and warmth simultaneously exactly what a studio built on precision and care needs to communicate.

Brand Merchandise

We extended the identity into physical merchandise, starting with a branded tote bag. Every design decision the logo placement, the colour application, the weight of the typography was made to ensure the merchandise felt like a considered extension of the brand, not an afterthought. When a member carries it out of the studio, it does the same marketing work as the website.

Web Design

The Forma website was built to convert. The homepage leads with a bold, editorial hero section that immediately communicates the studio's tone: dark, intentional, and premium. Class categories, booking prompts, and social proof are layered in without cluttering the experience.

The layout is designed around the studio's actual business goals getting visitors to book a first class. Stats, instructor credibility, class variety, and the studio's story all serve that single objective. Every section earns its place on the page.

The site is fully responsive and optimised for speed, so the experience is just as clean on mobile as it is on desktop critical for a business where most bookings happen on the go.

The Result

Forma launched with a brand identity and website that positions them as exactly what they are: Toronto's premier pilates studio. The visual system is cohesive across every touchpoint, the website drives class bookings, and the merchandise turns members into walking brand ambassadors.

This is what happens when every element of a brand the mark, the palette, the site, the merchandise is designed to work together instead of being pieced together over time.
