Our Standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) across this Site, including:
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and empty alt attributes on purely decorative ones.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Semantic HTML structure (headings, landmarks, labeled form fields) for screen readers.
- Visible focus states on interactive elements.
Known Limitations
This Site uses custom cursor effects and scroll animations for visual flair. We design these to be decorative rather than functional, so the Site remains fully usable with animations disabled, on touch devices, or with a keyboard/screen reader. If you encounter anything that gets in your way, please tell us — see below.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We review and improve this Site as we build new pages and revisit old ones.
